@dieworkwear Hi Derek, I totally agree with you about the shorter lapel looking like chicken wings. What do you make of this curved peak lapel? It's longer but it does have a high notch and is relatively narrow.

@urban_comp @dieworkwear @Rationaliber You mean the Savile Row US trunk shows? Yes they'll be a mix of salesmen and cutters usually and you're right, many of them do stick to their house style. Shame because some of them are capable of much more.

@urban_comp @dieworkwear @Rationaliber I think this is where the issue lies. If you're advising people against talking to the coatmaker about style, it's sort of a moot point because (in the UK at least) the customer never meets the coatmaker so it can't happen anyway. P.s. Taub is a cutter.

@dieworkwear @urban_comp @Rationaliber ..cut) worked as a cutter for almost all of his career but he has designed and cut for Nicole Farhi (and many more) even working with engineered garments when needed. He knows plenty about style. Naturally, we have to bear in mind that you guys are on the other side of the pond
