Boris Johnson in 2013, "I'd vote to stay in the EU Single Market. I'm in favour the EU Single Market. I want. I want us to be able to trade freely with our European friends and partners"
Never forget Boris Johnson divided the country with populism, trashed our economy, destroyed people's lives by ending freedom of movement, just so he could become Prime Minister of our country.
And then when he became Prime Minister, he was so bad at it, he was fined by the police for breaking his own rules, and then he lied so much in parliament, to parliament, and to the British people, he was eventually kicked out of the job of Prime Minister by his own party, for telling lies about a perverted Conservative MP.
What do you think, was it worth it?
Average energy costs in the UK are €2,960, €650 in France and Belgium, €620 in Spain, €558 in Germany and Denmark, €546 in Holland, €545 in Austria and €543 in Norway, €476 in Finland and €174 in Poland.
Baroness Boothroyd (2019), "This isn't the first time the Tory party has torn itself apart on this issue.. As Speaker I watched the Tory party tear itself apart during the Maastricht debates"
"I feared the worst when David Cameron aligned his party with the far right in Strasbourg.. And more so when he caved into the right wingers to call a referendum"
"He thought he could win, but says, he didn't mind losing. I did mind"
"If a democracy can't be allowed to change it's mind, it ceases to be a democracy"
"What is the government afraid of in refusing a people's vote?"
"Brexit will shape youngsters futures for the next 50 years. Not ours. I've no children. My quality of life won't be affected. I'm alright Jack. But what about the Jack and Jills out there? Are they to be stripped of their rights on the whim of those who peddled rubbish in a referendum and are afraid to be challenges in another?"
"I was a government whip when Harold Wilson was Prime Minister. He said that anyone who claimed that membership of the European Community (Union) was a black or white issue was either a charlatan or a simpleton"
"Which brings me to Boris Johnson.. We were promised an easy ride with a cash bonus thrown in. Nobody dreamed we would be frantically now preparing for worst case scenarios. And we are now paying the price for a referendum that was dominated by falsehoods"
"Brexiters promised the world but ignored the social and political realities festering in our own countries"
PRISONS' CRISIS
@NAOorguk warned Rishi Sunak (Chancellor) 3 yrs ago prisons would run out of space in 2023
Tories changed funding policy 4 times in 2016/18
Prisons closed
"Private funding" not working
More "40 new hospitals" fantasy?
Pls don't vote Tory this wk 🙏🏼
Interviewer, "Out of prison places, offered HS2 funds to projects already completed, told schools the wrong funding figures. Replacing Truss, you promised competence, embarrassed?"
Rishi Sunak, "No"
I, "Were mistakes made?"
RS, "No, we're delivering for the British people"
@HIVEDhq delivery missed yesterday and today it looks like another late one. What’s the point of having a 2hr window of the window keeps changing (getting delayed) every minute….started the day @ 12-2pm currently at 16.24-18.24….insane.
No country in the world imposes more internet shutdowns than India. Last year India enforced more than 3X as many shutdowns as war torn Ukraine.
