The 24/7 protest has been a powerful show of collective unity. Hundreds gather every evening to hear speeches and performances, do ardaas and kirtan, and partake in langar every night. Many politicians and public figures have made appearances in the morcha (protest) in support.
Since May 28, int’l students have been staging a 24-hr protest in front of the CBSA office at 6900 Airport Road. Their demands have been clear from the beginning: stop the deportations of international students who were victimized by fraudulent immigration consultants.

Deporting students who have done nothing wrong not only tears families apart but also deprives our society of talented individuals. It's time to say no to unjust deportations! #stopdeportation#standforstudents
Dozens of supporters arrived at the site hourly throughout the afternoon. The police have backed off and said they will not forcibly remove anyone on behalf of the property owners.
Thanks to all who came out.
Let’s keep it going: 6900 Airport Rd.
