This morning, over 1500 educators from around the state are gathered for the Summer Literacy Institute! We thank this community of literacy leaders working hard to help every Florida student read on grade level.
It’s the 40th anniversary of Plyler v. Doe, the Supreme Court case that established that all children, regardless of documentation, have the right to a public school education.
We celebrate all the teachers who have honored that commitment to their immigrant and refugee students!
