@milordsss However given the structure of GST, Agenda and Minutes of Council Meetings are the only source of finding legislative intent of any provision.
@abhinavsekhri10 There is only souch that laid down procedures and elusive judgments can do in such cases. A culture of understanding nuances and drive for justice at the level of police and lower judiciary is required. Instead we have performative legislations.
@vijaimantrimf Who was this "one boy"? GenZ also understands the concept of consent. If Nargis didn't want to marry a guy GenZ won't say she should marry her for convenience; it sounds like something older folks would say.
@akarlin I think the misunderstanding also comes from the fact that most Americans only know one language. So any word from another language sounds exotic enough to be thought of as some deep idea.
@JohnIVSobieski@spandrell4 Indian (Hindu) names have meaning in Sanskrit. Vivek=wisdom. Sanjay=victorious etc. Keeping a name which doesn't mean anything is very counter intuitive for Hindus. Maybe Asian names like Lu or Wang don't mean anything in their language.
@priyaee_ Look in the mirror and read your name when you say this.
Priya = Samskrit word for Beloved
Patel = Surname from Gujarat (a state in India)
You are the "third word" and the "unequal culture" who shouldn't have been "imported".
