“Ease of Doing Business” & the #MCAportal can’t exist in the same sentence without irony.
If the government can build UPI, it can build a filing system that doesn’t collapse under a deadline.

MCA portal has been extremely slow for the last 4–5 days, and since this morning, even login is not working. Professionals are unable to carry out statutory filings and compliance work. Kindly extend CCFS 2026 and ensure the portal functions properly @HelpdeskMCA21V3@MCA21India
ICSI ने representation भेजा, हमने उम्मीद लगाई,
MCA site खोली तो उसने भी छुट्टी मनाई।
अब सरकार से बस इतनी सी फरियाद है—
या portal चला दो, या September की तारीख़ बढ़ा दो भाई! 😂

A Humble Request to MCA – Extension of CCFS 2026 by 30 Days
Hon’ble Finance Minister @nsitharaman, @MCA21India & @FinMinIndia,
We respectfully request an additional 30-day extension of the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme (CCFS) 2026.
CCFS 2026 has received an encouraging response, with a large number of companies coming forward to regularise their long-pending statutory compliances and become fully compliant.
However, companies and professionals are facing technical difficulties on the MCA portal, including filing/payment-related issues. In addition, the Bharat Kosh portal has been under upgradation since 07.08.2026, creating further difficulty for stakeholders in completing payments within the prescribed period.
The duration of earlier MCA amnesty/settlement initiatives also demonstrates that longer windows have been provided:
🔹 CLSS 2010 – 94 days
🔹 CLSS 2011 – 157 days
🔹 CLSS 2014 – 139 days
🔹 CODS 2018 – 151 days
🔹 CFSS 2020 – 275 days
🔹 CCFS 2026 – 139 days
CCFS 2026 is therefore not unusually long when compared with the 275-day window provided under CFSS 2020.
Further, the scheme provides significant relief from additional fees/penalties, thereby creating a strong incentive for companies to voluntarily regularise their defaults.
When companies are genuinely attempting to comply, they should not lose the benefit of the scheme merely because of portal downtime, technical glitches or payment-system constraints beyond their control.
We therefore humbly request MCA to:
👉 Extend CCFS 2026 by at least 30 days.
This will:
✅ Enable more defaulting companies to become compliant
✅ Give stakeholders sufficient time to overcome technical/payment difficulties
✅ Maximise the number of companies benefiting from the scheme
✅ Advance the Government’s objective of Ease of Doing Business & Ease of Compliance
✅ Improve the overall corporate compliance ecosystem
An extension is not merely a concession—it is an opportunity to bring thousands of additional companies into the formal compliance framework.
🙏 We sincerely request MCA to consider this extension in the larger interest of corporate compliance, stakeholders and the business community.
