@paintmakesart While scaling would be nice, the donut shape of paldea worked really well with their level distribution for the most part. Being stubborn and sticking with it on someone who's JUST beyond you is very very fun to me, and then going back to the level appropriate gym is satisfying.

@FoolOfKingLear @PixelFXco I'm not familiar with this product in particular, but having a proper video scaler can really help with pixel art/low res gaming on a modern display. One of the main names in the scene is Retrotink and there are some great results there.

Often enough they have the same problems that the built-in converters on modern TVs also have - most modern TVs are pretty bad at scaling low resolution signals and having another piece of hardware designed for that helps a lot.

@B17Fortres We should leave pokemon go boomers out of this one, they actually know more about pokemon than the Genwunners. In my experience they don't stick their nose up at non gen 1/2 pokemon like a toddler eating veggies
