This might be a hot take, but I’d slap £120m on the table & say ‘we’ll pay.’

We’ve wasted £60m on transfer flops before. Yes, it’s a huge fee, but this is as close to a guaranteed success as you’ll find.

Hold off on the LW until next summer and use Cunha/Dorgu there for now.
