Pep Guardiola is much more than just an unbelievable manager.
He spoke up for the people of Palestine, Sudan and Congo while others looked away.
Pep used his platform to defend our shared humanity. That will never be forgotten. Thank you, Pep.
Far down the list of SPFL stories tonight, but it's James Tavernier's last home game for Rangers. He has been a superb player that will be a genuine miss to the SPFL in my opinion.
He has dealt with frequent, understandable, seethe from scores of Rangers supporters over the years given he's been their captain during one of Celtic's most successful periods in history.
On the flip side, he's got a highlights reel with better goals than any Rangers player this century, was voted into the team of the year by his fellow players in 7 of 10 seasons, was fundamental in getting his team to a European final, scored in cup finals and the stats show he was Rangers most creative player in pretty much every season at the club - including this one. The one title he did win saw them set the British record for fewest goals conceded in a league season (13). Leaves under a cloud in front an empty Ibrox mainly due to the fact they've conceded 13 goals in their last five matches!
The fact that he's had to do this from right back is probably more of an indictment of the seemingly revolving door of complete and utter doughballs he's been surrounded with over the years. I would be willing to bet if you had a team of XI James Tavernier's then they'd have won a lot more trophies than they did. Although Daizen Maeda would be scoring at both pack posts instead of just the one, but still.
