A body bag full of ice is a very efficient way to cool a dangerously hypothermic patient in the ED.

The patient can be fully monitored, intubated and even cardioverted all while submerged in the ice water body bag.

Wellens’ syndrome is a pattern of deeply inverted or biphasic T waves in V2-3.

+ chest pain.

It is highly specific for critical stenosis of the left anterior descending artery (LAD).

It should be treated as a STEMI with urgent angiography and revascularisation.
