TW.. I was sexually assaulted by a police officer and will share my journal from 1993 to 1995, a lot of red flags if only I wasn’t 16 when I met the 45 yr old.
It’s a small write up on the 3 main experiences w/ the horrible PD in my hometown! My blog goes in more details as I’m sharing my journals.

Fuck just heard someone say.
Don’t underestimate the hole your absence would leave.
That hits deep.
But I do know that when your in that dark place we convince ourselves our families and loved ones would be better off without us.
This is not true.
Please hang in there.
@RebekahWriter All I have to say is the only people who ever hurt me has been WHITE males!! And it makes me so mad that SOME White people treat immigrants so poorly — I did a speech in college about how unless your 100% Native American you are from an immigrant plan and simple.
Just incase your mind is playing tricks on you... Here's a gentle reminder beautiful people...
You are worthy 💯
You are needed 🫂
You are wanted 🥰
You are loved ❤️
You make the world a better place just by being in it 🌍
What do so many get wrong about abuse?
They think telling/leaving is about courage when it’s really about risk. Anyone surviving abuse already has more courage than most. What they have to do is calculate their risk of what will happen when they leave/tell.
#respectsurvivors
When a survivor shows anger, they're shamed for it because people are afraid of what the anger represents. There is much manipulation & silencing that goes into getting a survivor to believe everyone else is fine. Of course they're angry. You would be too if that happened to you.
If people felt safe to tell others what they’re trying to heal from without projection or judgement, they would heal quicker and no longer normalize suffering in silence.
People with cPTSD have difficulty explaining why things feel so intense. Think of a person in pain who was always denied help with past pain & imagine what they've had to do all those years to get by. The c in cPTSD is complex. A life built in survival mode is not easy to explain
Warning!
Minimizing somebody else's feelings is a way of controlling them. If they no longer trust their own feelings and instincts, they come to rely on someone else to tell them how they're supposed to feel. That's invalidation and manipulation.
Trauma can make you feel like you're never safe, even if the world around you appears to be safe to everyone else. This can make it incredibly difficult to explain to non traumatized people, who can't see a clear"reason"you feel anxious, paranoid, scared, or powerless.
You become unstoppable when you focus on things that people can't take away from you. Things like your mindset, character, personality, transparency, your entire Soul.
When you heal from abuse, you wake up and realize it was never your fault. The pain in that is grieving the time you spent building a life as an apology. The power in that is never apologizing for what you’re not responsible for again.
Signs of a High Soul Vibration:
1. Animals feel safe in your presence.
2. People stare at you in public.
3. Random strangers love to come to you and tell you their stories.
4. You can feel energy shift when you enter a room.
5. You irritate toxic people just by being you.
Why is it when something good happens I go into overdrive mode and convince myself it won’t happen.
So then I doubt myself.
And lose hope.
The struggle is real.
