In 2023, there were nearly 7,000 incidences of Spiking reported to the police in England and Wales. But in new and exclusive data from @StampOutSpiking / Cardiff University, @sangitalal reveals the true scale appears to be much higher.

#Spiking can, and increasingly does, happen to anyone. Men and women of all ages have had their drinks targeted, sometimes for a predatory crime, like robbery or sexual assault, but an increasingly large number of cases appear to be for so-called entertainment - to watch the victim struggling.
