I talked to landscaping contractor about two months ago that charged a guy $750,000 for what I think could’ve been $100,000 job

Just yesterday, I spoke to an agent who got a quote to fix some stairs very minor work and patch a hole in a roof

First Contractor said I think we can do it for just under $200,000

The total job is about a $20,000 job according to the agent who is also a general contractor

Be careful out there and always get multiple quotes from people you trust

After reading what you wrote, I think I would find more success if I teamed up with her instead of always doing things on my own… I guess I always just assume she’s not interested in the things I do on the side… probably because I’ve had so many 😂💀

I tried to become an appraiser a few years ago, the barrier to entry is quite difficult in my state of Texas. You have to convince someone to be your mentor for 6 months, 1000 hrs, and take the licensing exam.

You’re basically asking someone to do more work for nothing. The way it’s set up isn’t beneficial for the licensed appraiser at all
