The last time I went to the headquarters of GIHOC Distilleries to buy a carton of Takai for a visiting friend, I was told they were out of stock.

I began wondering whether my campaign for the cocoa/coffee drink in the black sexy bottle was working.

All the people I have served with Takai instantly fell in love with the drink. It is smooth with a special taste that can only be poured out of Ghana’s most distinguished distillery.

I still can’t believe that Ghana is not deliberately promoting this product which can so very easily put us on the world scene.

When will Takai be served at all state receptions? Will Ghanaian diplomatic missions be directed to serve Takai at all their receptions?
