Watching temperature closely up here at Broomtown in Northern Cherokee county. Went from 36-40 from 11-12. However, I’ve slowly dropped back down to 37.8 as of 3:20. @NWSBirmingham @spann @simpsonWVTM13

With the rain essentially over I ended up with 4.51” as a storm total up in Broomtown. 1.54” since Midnight. Highest total per hour came last night with 0.89” between 7:00 and 8:00. Various places on rural county roads are covered with water. @spann @simpsonWVTM13 @NWSBirmingham
