Many areas with price pressure (housing and higher education) have tight regulation like zoning and licensing. They're also government-guaranteed (mortgages and student loans) so homeowners and universities jack up prices on Uncle Sam's nickel. Need fewer subsidies, deregulation.

I may be a cold SOB (a distinct possibility) but I don’t think HOW a case would affect a person should enter a Supreme Court Justice’s thinking when deciding a case. All that should matter is WHAT the law and Constitution says. Period.
