Non-licensed people sticking needles in you for “skin glow” is not a wellness service, it’s assault, and the marketing is the only reason it keeps selling.
IV glutathione and similar drips have no solid evidence they lighten or “glow” healthy skin, yet they carry real risks: contaminated needles can transmit HIV or hepatitis, high doses have been linked to kidney and liver injury, and regulators in multiple countries have flagged or restricted them for cosmetic use. Spas and home “nurses” often skip medical screening and sterile technique.
If you want better skin, sleep, diet, sunscreen, and a licensed dermatologist beat an unregulated drip every time. You can report unlicensed injectors to the medical council or police.
A Nursing Management Board couldn’t sack someone who molested nursing students, yet another is expelling and suspending student nurses for being ignorant. Misplaced responsibilities.
I have just one questions for Nigerians
Assuming you have a health emergency like this, is there one number on your phone that you can call and then be sure that an ambulance with a team of healthcare workers is on their way?
If your answer is as good as mine, then we should stop this fooling of tribe and religion and channel our anger to 2027 election as humans.
We are not are immune to what happened to this man, an emergency shouldn't be treated like this.
I pray we get it right.
There was a time that crowdfunding in Nigeria is usually for people with serious healthcare problems, now all the crowdfunding I'm seeing are for kidnapped victims.
I'm sick of this land.
Heard a story of a resident who married his gf and brought her into the country.
They had kids but as a resident they don’t earn that much, she got influenced by people here and started demanding more.
She got divorced and he was placed on child support but he couldn’t always pay every-time, She kept taking him to court, thereby mostly missing work.
Eventually lost his spot, he got to his breaking point, went to her place, told the kids to go out, took a gun and shot himself in her presence.
One of the saddest story have heard in recent times.
So truthfully marrying right as an HCW is a must.
Woke up to X Medical Space debating the Madonna video again, with two opposing views. This only reinforces my earlier position: NMCN WILL DECIDE.
At this crossroads, if we genuinely want clemency for the students, we should stop fighting each other and work together to secure it.
A man and his landlady.
The new thing she does now that gladdens my heart is that whenever she is watching bebefin and bebefin is playing with daddy, she comes to drag me if I’m not in the sitting room and replicate whatever she is seeing in the tv.
I’m happy to be a father.
I saw a post where someone asked which businesses will be profitable in Nigeria in the nearest future and @the_beardedsina mentioned Dialysis centres.
I'm beginning to understand why.
LECTURE TIME:
As a registered nurse or student nurse, you need to learn how to advocate for your colleagues and give them GRACE!
Look at your other colleagues in the medical field, if something goes wrong the first thing they do is to protect their colleagues before trying to look for where it all went wrong (analyse)
Don’t be that unintelligent nurse that rush to judge and attack her colleagues immediately something goes wrong, it portrays disunity and lack of empathy from those in the profession.
Let this Madonna university student nurses incident be a lesson.
The good thing about this nonsense is that it will affect everybody.
The bad thing about this same nonsense is that it will affect everybody.
A bad Government does not care about political party, tribe or age.
You were in your teenage years when APC came into power. By the time Tinubu will finish his 2nd term (because I know he will win again, we don’t learn), many of you will be in your mid 30s. Yet some idiots are still doing banger boys for these people that don’t care about you
