For about two decades, @ncfnigeria in collaboration with @LasgMOE has hosted Walk for Nature, an environmental advocacy and mobilisation event, dedicated to raising awareness and driving action for a sustainable change in Lagos.

This 19th edition focuses on one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time - plastic pollution.
In alignment with the 2025 World Environment Day theme, we’re calling on everyone to take a stand to "Beat Plastic Pollution"

Why This Matters
Plastic pollution is choking our ecosystems, clogging drains, littering landscapes, and threatening wildlife.

Lagos State alone contributes a significant share of Nigeria’s plastic waste, and the time to act is now.
