@RadioFreeBR@MTA For those of us who transfer at Atlantic, DeKalb or Jay, it will probably improve service. For anyone who commutes to an R stop south of Canal, it will be a huge inconvenience. I don't think the pros outweigh the cons.
@Slate Rather the city and state give $3 billion in zero-interest loans to multiple life sciences firms to relocate to LIC so they can then work with the Cornell satellite campus on Roosevelt Island to create a hub. Better than putting all the eggs in one basket. Just an idea.
@danarubinstein ...over 30 jobs in a customer service center. The official could have gone the even more disingenuous route by bringing up how Amazon had committed to bringing computer labs to local schools.
