@nmaddo Thanks Neil, will forward photos of the day, (still not sure how to work and post things on twitter so probably best if I do it the old fashioned way !!!!) Take care love Jayne x
@davidgibb45@nmaddo Thank you for your lovely comments. I know its a long way, but you and your family would be more than welcome to come and attend Jon's memorial game , will have tickets put by for you x
@davidgibb45@nmaddo Yes you're right he did score in that game. Although he left the following season, he always spoke very fondly of his time up at Middlesbrough, especially the people ๐ x

Hi Alan
Just wanted to let you know that a charity game is being arranged in honour of Jon and for cancer research. It's being held next April 16th at Fareham Town FC and is between a team of ex pros from the clubs Jon played for. Would be great to see you.

Very very sad to hear the terrible news that Jon Gittens died. I loved him. His sense of humour, his "never surrender" attitude to play football. We spent an incredible season at @Official_STFC . RIP my friend. My thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.
@osvaldooardiles@Official_STFC Thank you all for your kind words. The love & admiration for Jon Gittens has given us great comfort. He was a great player, coach & friend but most importantly to us he was a loving husband & father & we will miss him deeply.
