Passionate educator committed to the development of the whole child. Searching for meaningful ways to engage students & teachers in their own ed. journey
I have just sat through 47 minutes of a satanic death cult gleefully committing the most unimaginable butchery on innocent men, women and children.
All while chanting the name of their prophet. Jittery and exited with spittle in the corners of their demonically possessed and crazed mouths. Their eyes lit up in ecstasy, like they had been given the greatest honour of their lives.
Other than the laughter, the crowds of thousands in Gaza screaming the same chants as broken, naked and defiled bodies are paraded in trucks as boys too young to join in the carnage spit on them in pure hatred.
The footage I will never be able to unsee is two boys who have been blown up with a grenade and watched their father shot, trying to comfort each other and tend to each others wounds. In deep shock one new orphan tries to rationalise things by saying repeatedly that “It is not a prank.” Whilst the other cries for their “papa” as their father’s murderer checks the fridge casually for a snack.
I can understand military action against enemy soldiers in war, but to burn their children and rape, behead, shoot and play with the body parts of civilians, who are always referred to as “dogs” whilst screaming the same chant, that god is great, like in someway God had anything to do with it, is inhuman.
There is no excuse for what happened on October 7th. Sympathy for the devil is what anyone who tried to justify those acts displays.
I understand that there is another side to every story, but if this level of organised massacre happened here, I would hope that we would not stop until every single one of the perpetrators of this modern holocaust were obliterated from the face of the earth.
This behaviour isn’t innate. The perpetrators of these crimes have been carved this way. Honed into cold blooded killers joyously calling their adoring mothers to give them the news of 10 dead jew dogs.
Their hatred of life and devouring love of death is beyond comprehension.
And this is done in the name of God?
No chance.
The devil’s worshippers did his bidding that day, and unless you have borne witness to it, it’s impossible to understand.
God is love. God is forgiveness.
God is nowhere near these devil’s minions.
And they should not be allowed anywhere near the United Kingdom.
@bravenewmalden Happy birthday!! I’ll be 50 on July 12th if only I had been born two years earlier I’d have been exactly half your age! I hope you have a magical day.
@horrorfan96z @k8roulette2 Consider this…teacher well-being impacts student well-being. 11% ⬆️ in positive outcomes when teachers are well & happy. Sadly stress & anxiety is contagious. Stdts well-being ⬇️ 20% as teacher cortisol ⬆️
Systems matter & judgemt of lived exp. isn’t helpful or kind.
Check this out - this year Jewish Climate Network is writing a birthday card for the world. I just added my name to be published in AJN alongside hundreds of others. Will you add yours? https://t.co/SZHQ7pPu4I

Lucky to be working in an environment & with colleagues who always consider the underlying reasons for behaviours rather than paying too much attention to the overt ones. #wellbeing#holisticeducation https://t.co/V8fioBv68Q

@GuardianAus Let’s fix this headline. French police investigate attack on woman because 3 men chose to use violence against a woman who was simply going about her everyday life. #fixedit
We are the force of change, the educators. We don’t just teach subjects, we teach people. Our most important job is to teach them how to be human, to be curious about ideas, other people & their perspectives & to communicate their thoughts w. clarity & respect
Thanks @AdamMGrant
Actions speak louder than words, but words still matter.
Data: denouncing racism can motivate people to act by signaling that support for systemic change is growing.
Movements don't build in silence. Talking the talk can lead others to walk the walk.
