@bluejaysrecap@MitchBannon Probably to keep that move in the chamber for the next time it’s needed. They had the option with Kirk and it didn’t affect his timeline so it made sense to use it.
@Yogi_Bear17@JohnnyGiunta_ Yeah but he throws strikes. It will be around three pitches to Schneider or Sosa no matter who it is before they’re struck out.
@swillysports Yeah he’s cooked. Having seen both Manoah and Lauer up close a lot as a Jays fan, I would stay far away from both of them. If I absolutely had to choose one, I think I would pick Manoah.
@FlettGordon@KeeganMatheson@BlueJays Loved what he did last year, but he’s just not that guy anymore. He’s throwing 90mph meatballs down the middle or for balls and he’s getting rocked. His stuff wasn’t that good last year and it’s worse this year. The magic has worn off. They are trying to go back to WS.
@RobWong34 It looked like he was able to pick up McLean’s sweeper grip. You could see him tapping his head a few times right before the pitch and Garcia was all over the inside sweeper.
