@meltymelties @preposterousbbg Looks play a role, yes. You can ruin that advantage the moment you open your mouth. What we need is confidence. That comes out of you. Then, starting and creating engaging conversations becomes easier.

@Frostyschizaloo The identify crisis I understand with mixed kids. You need good parenting and it might still not get them over the hump. I think at minimum keeping the languages and most common traditions from both sides. They should be educated on it. At some point they decide who they are.

@Frostyschizaloo I disagree on “extremely incompatible”. Especially in the USA where if you’re born here then you’re American. Your culture is already mixed. You keep your favorite parts. There can be a clash, which makes it not for everyone. I’d think G would want us all to love one another.

@PaleoStephen @Epic10233 😂. The only other movie I can think of is Saving Silverman. Another comedy, which is all I could see him in. It’s not a bad thing. Who doesn’t like to be considered funny?

I own apple products. I appreciate the simplicity and it’s considered in style. I fell into it because of others around me. I don’t even know if it’s really better, or simply has a fan base that assumes it is. I imagine many don’t know about their other options. Why do you choose apple? Is it just to keep the blue bubble? 😂 Question for anyone.

@firesidealpha This must be an eye and mind opening experience. How do the minds of these contributors work? What type of data are they using? How far are they planning and thinking through. What are their challenges outside of laws. You have to love what you do. I’m glad I saw this.

@w_willmoney She is right about the tone. How we say things matter. It’s not just the words themselves. The tone can hit a bad feeling. Not always so easy to recover no matter what is said after. You have already FELT it. The softness of a woman can ignite a man. Woman don’t seem to know this

Inspiring. It sounds like you have a peace in your life that many will never understand. Some that aim for it may never quite get there. Others may not want it and that’s okay too. Certain types thrive in fast, chaotic, overstimulating, and constant pursuit. To them it’s beautiful

@blairvic02 I like this ending. With a tenant that has been reliable I would extend the week and waive any fee. You’ve proven to be trustworthy enough. I understand where the landlord is coming from with others asking for extensions as well.

@99sznx Both pay rent, both communicate and agree on things that effect both of you. It doesn’t matter who it is. She was also there without anyone else in the home. Why? Emergency only is more understandable. I bet she’d be pissed if it was reversered. She will do this again. Reassess.

@middle_class_us Capitalism, greed and corruption has made that “good job” simply your main source of income. You need to make more money to feed yourself and the aforementioned machine. It’s not all our fault. There are a lot of other factors.

@plumedsnake You can’t be delusional and think things will just work out. Yeah, that’s crazy🤣. It takes a different type of effort to unite two people from different cultures. You have to really want to be together.

@meltymelties @preposterousbbg Like the original post mentions. There are other qualities people should focus on. They are the kind you can actually improve with self work. Looks will always matter to an extent. Most people still want substance to match.
