It's crazy to me to think that the Zero Hour exotic mission was funded by the Whisper of the Worm ornament sales in Eververse during some of the lowest periods in Destiny, yet for years upon years between Beyond Light & Lightfall when playercounts were consistently higher, we never got anything else like this that was "free" unless you count Into the Light. Where did all that money go to? Oh yeah.. Marathon and multiple cancelled incubation projects. My bad.

I wonder what's going on at Sony right now. They're watching these numbers, knowing they're investing money into Marathon instead of Destiny. It's fascinating to me. In my opinion, there MUST be some crazy drama behind the scenes in order for them to be making such backwards business decisions. This goes beyond business it seems. I hope we learn the details one day.

It’s 7pm on the east coast and on the final night of free to play for Marathon it is currently struggling to get over 16k players while Destiny 2 is over 120k players. A clear message is being sent to Bungie and Sony about what the players want.
(And it’s not even the weekend😉)
