The man on the mic ( @jasonbenetti ) is so, so good. Hits all the right notes always but especially here on this improbable run. You're lucky to have him, Detroit. I'm sure the folks in Chicago would agree.
In 2017, I paid Cards Against Humanity to protect a plot of border land from Trump’s racist wall. Then an even richer, more racist billionaire—Elon Musk—stole my land and dumped his shit all over it. @ElonMusk owes me $100. #ElonOwesMe100Bucks https://t.co/0zF4dSa2T6
In my region, the crcna chose to hate its own members. It was super weird, but what would the church be if it didn’t split in the 20’s of every next century to save whatever is left of its soul
At each Gather event, participants share stories about God at work in their churches. Check out this story from classis Lake Erie and think about the stories you can share from your region. #CRCGather#OneWeekUntilGatherVancouver

Social media apps as Lord of the Rings characters, a thread:
Twitter: Twitter is Gollum. Began as a normal halfling. Overexposure to evil left it thin and stretched and bitter.
5. Twitter is free and voluntary.
4. Fix the strike zone, fix the game.
3. If you can afford the team, you can afford the players.
2. It's the pitchers, not the hitters.
1. Ball go far, team go far.

I just mentioned this on @miklasz's show, and will repeat it here: I hope everyone inside and outside the #stlcards org is noticing how Willson Contreras has acted while being thrown under the bus by guys without a fraction of his track record. I wish I had his grace.
BREAKING: Utah Republicans are "Very Sad" that a parent has contested the Bible's presence in schools due to a state law that prohibits "pornographic or indecent" content.
The unnamed parent said that the Bible is “one of the most sex-ridden books around.”
Up until this point this law has been used to eliminate books by primarily Black and LGBTQ+ writers from school libraries.
The Utah state Rep. Ken Ivory (R), who sponsored the bill called this parent's actions "very sad" and a "political stunt".
What's sad is that the GOP is literally doing far worse about books that aren't even close to as bad as the Bible in terms of sexualization.
