Pls process PhD visa backlog. After waiting for months, we deserve a decision. If you can't give so many PhD visas, pls tell universities not to give admissions to offshore PhD students so that they can look elsewhere

While redirecting resources may be effective in new applications, the problem with cases more than 1 year old remains unresolved. We ask authorities to finalise visas submitted before and during border closure.

We asked the #Australian home affairs to clear the #backlog for #studentvisa who are waiting more than 1 year, BUT they are granting NEW applicant’s visas in less than 2 weeks! There has to be a rule:first in, first out! THIS IS NOT FAIR!

6 months of 2022 gone just like that! 2 years back when the entire world was fighting against COVID-19, I never thought that I’d still be at home in 2022 waiting for my Australian #PhD student visa. 2 years of my life gone! 2 years of my career gone! And it is never coming back!
