@4nt1p4tt3rn I’m a direct descendent of Benjamin Harrison, who upon signing the Declaration joked that he had less to lose than the skinny signers because he was fat and hanging him would take less time.
@MediumJim@politicalmath Context matters. Are the “Bible passages” a part of the historical reading about the founding fathers? Are they context for the founding documents? Do they relate to the religious nature of the colonial founding? We don’t know, because the journalism is terrible.
At that range, unless you have a crazy short barrel, the pattern hasn’t opened. When I say it isn’t point and click, I’m saying you can’t just point it down the hall and pull the trigger.
Instinctive shooting still takes familiarity with the weapon. Both so you can hit your target under pressure, and so you don’t cause a malfunction. You don’t want to put your first shot over a guy’s head, then short stroke the pump.
What you’re not getting is the people trying to make an example of him don’t think you’re any different.
Your enemies hate you, and want to punish you. They would do the exact same thing to you just for your opinions.
Chud is just loud and made himself an easy target. What is being done to him isn’t justice, no matter how obnoxious he is. “I don’t act like that, they won’t do that to me” only works if you think they care about what he did, not who he is. As far as they’re concerned because you’re white and not a communist you’re just as bad.
@MattWalshBlog I only disagree on the torture. Our founders were right. Justice doesn’t require that. It only requires the public removal of such monsters.
Hang them in public. Leave their bodies for a day with a sign saying rapist on it. Then dump them in unmarked graves.
@ESisson7 They just gotta avoid that southern food if they’re planning to play in a soccer tournament. A diet of fried chicken and beer ain’t great for your endurance.
@999veronica999 Jesus Christ lady. If you really think the world is this bad, why are you still in it? If I really thought this, I’d be looking for the exit.
@borage99978350@TheBabylonBee It’s not about the Sikh, it’s about an entire system designed to destroy the white population of Britain. Henry died because he was a second class citizen of his own country.
@icarusthecow@RudeOnion In areas with a lot of corn, when it’s hot enough, the corn will release moisture to cool down. It literally sweats. This can raise the humidity in an entire region significantly.
Now instead of 90° and 60% humidity it’s 80% and miserable.
Do you think the culture in California and Massachusetts are the same?
Americans feel culture shock all the time.
Someone who grew up in rural Iowa is getting a huge culture shock in NYC. A kid who grew up in Boston is getting a huge culture shock in LA.
You can’t even say “they all speak the same language!” The kid from rural Georgia can’t understand a San Diegoan whose first language is Spanish, even if they’re both technically speaking English.
@CulperTheThird@memeticsisyphus Yeah but they handled that better too. The villain is the angry single woman who hates Helen because she’s a wife, mother, and hero and has her priorities in order. Also, Helen tries to get back into her career but realizes being a mom is better.
I’ve tried to explain this to people. In a healthy America libertarianism is a good thing. We SHOULD be able to fight about government limits in a republic.
We don’t live in that world now. When someone is trying to burn your house down, with your kids inside, you don’t ask about the precedent you’re setting when you stop them. You stop them. By any means necessary.
