@TeddyRmble@TammyTutone@JoyceWhiteVance It shouldn't. Like you can't wear a political hat to a polling station, but a DSA representative can ask you to fill out their ballot with them while you watch them. And that's apparently okay.
Should be challenged right now.
@dilanesper No. Basketball already has time outs and 4 quarters. It's fine in the sense people adapt but it really does change the game.
It's be like changing basketball to no time outs. And only 2 halves. Sure it would adapt but it wouldn't be an inconsequential change.
@utdcynical 40 would have been fine.
10 groups of 4
All winnder + 6 second places go through.
This 12 groups with 3rd places going through and what'll be a boring round of 32 is wack.
@RenegadeX1410@emmett_mcl@TouchmineX It's a wonderful headline. Especially after how we squeaked that goal in against such a relatively formidable opponent.
@OliverJia1014 All this is correct.
Fwiw people have an issue with buy, borrow, die as unfair, let's target that. Force a realization event at collateralization of certain assets.
The 5% of his wealth would do X is wrong on what $$ selling 5% would yield and the complexity of the issues.
@JamesSurowiecki The checks on same day registration, double voting and others are so nonsensical, numerically absurd.
Saying the election is secure is as baseless as saying it's a fraud. No one is in operation from knowledge. Your claims are all based on faith.
@Acyn Just strawman after strawman.
No one is demanding signature matching. We don't want no fault mail in voting. The signature matching is cited by MIV advocates and we're just pointing out it's a weak control.
@mattyglesias I dunno. I prefer handing my card and getting a piece of paper to sign over waiting while the waitress fumbles with a little machine that I have to tap, or to myself having to deal with another screen.
@Susan_Shelley If you look at the 2024 stats it's clear that #2 is not even checked in all counties or at least reported.
LA country somehow has large amount of double voters rejected (1300) other large counties have virtually none (Fresno at 0, San Fran at 4).

@mattBernius@LACountyRRCC Thanks for letting me know. FWIW, my angle is genuinely improving election integrity and faith through better controls, transparency.
While I am more independent/moderate, I find the current admin abhorrent and it's sad another reality TV star (Pratt) is the GOP's answer.
@DonnyDingleberg@mtaibbi As I noted in my original post, I was specifically discussing rejections for "already voted."
LA County is a massive outlier, not just in number but in percentage (taking into account its side).
The screenshot uses the LA nubmers as a baseline.
