In English, Year 3 have been writing biographies about the inspiring palaeontologist, Mary Anning. We remembered lots of key facts, included subordinating conjunctions and created exciting headings. @JcaWriting
Year 4 had a brilliant English lesson orally rehearsing their speech sentences for their own Greek myth. We focussed on the way the character would speak and how they would react @JcaWriting#Accomplishoracy#greekmyth
Year 1 published their first piece of writing today, they strove so high to write beautifully to publish their dragon passports! We are so proud - an amazing effort! @JcaWriting

Year 3 used editing stations to improve their third person narratives on fossils. They worked exceptionally well, with their editing partner, when checking they had included features from each station. @JcaWriting
Year 1 have been inspired by our egg that hatched last week. This week we have focussed on describing “Sparkle Moon” using adjectives and writing accurate sentences! @JcaWriting
Year 5 were brilliant at using a thesaurus to help them find synonyms for their adjectives. They then used their fantastic vocabulary to create a descriptive setting. @JcaWriting
