@nypost Similarly I never understood the “1/2 the distance from the goal” penalties. Why should you only be 1/2 penalized based on poor field position. If field position precludes enforcement of the full yardage the 1st down marker should be moved forward so the full yardage is necessary

A cute story from Israel: shortly after 10/7, Sheizaf Meshulam was contacted by a volunteer named Inbar who wanted to support military spouses in these stressful days. The young stranger came over, cleaned, cooked, ran errands and babysat Sheizaf’s young girls while their father was on the front lines. The family had no idea Inbar was taking the day off from Judo training to be with them. Yesterday they watched the babysitter win Silver in the #Olympics.

Congratulations Inbar Lanir! A champion through and through.
