@GWRHelp ... So 3 consecutive trains from London to Paddington to Didcot cancelled this evening and then you send a 5 carriage train?!? It surely isn't beyond the wit of man to get one of the many trains going directly from Reading to Swindon to stop at Didcot?
@GWRHelp Hi Michaela, given there is a finite amount of rolling stock shouldn't there be more adaptability and flexibility around stops when the timetable starts to go wrong and it is obvious many people can't get to where they want to despite trains going through the main stations? Thks
@GWRHelp what is the point of switching the seat reservations to red a few minutes before trains depart when people have been sitting on the train for 20 minutes?!? It’s not great customer service….
This morning, I asked the Minister for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Stuart Andrew, to bring forward the fan-led review on ownership of football clubs.
We need to protect clubs like West Bromwich Albion from owners who jeopardise heritage assets.
@CoopaWBA5 It’s all about confidence! He had a connection Pereira that worked. You don’t lose ability and it doesn’t help that we are all on his back now…
@GWRHelp stood waiting for the 06.47am Didcot to Paddington and announcement saying train is full, standing and unlikely anyone will get on. Next fast train 07.15. Not great start to day!!!!
@IsMyBTBroadban1@Jahhwba@BenFoster He’s a businessman, whilst he may not like it, an asset that is depreciating through not being in the premier league is going to lead to a loss. The only question being does he (I) sit on his hands watching it go down; (ii) invest and hope it goes up; or (iii) cut his losses.
@finnaz1892@wbaDAWS@sportbbcwm It’s not down to Bruce to quit, it’s down to the club to terminate his contract and pay him what is due. Very few managers leave their job out of goodwill unless clubs are financially distressed or the managers have a longstanding history.
@IsMyBTBroadban1@Jahhwba@BenFoster He might not want to sell for a penny less than he paid but he bought the club whilst in the premier league which is now sliding towards division 1. It’s value has depreciated significantly.
@dfds_uk I understand you are refusing to allow two families of Ukrainian refugees to book for today despite having Uk Government ‘’Right to Travel’ (ie visa) documentation because they only have ‘internal’ passports - please urgently confirm as these are legitimate travel docs
@dfds_uk Hi - they have the right travel documents, but dfds are not allowing them to book onto a crossing without international passports. That is the issue, not the border part itself. Please can you advise how we deal with this?
