#PalliativeCare Research from Rwanda to the Global Stage🌍
We are proud to celebrate our Executive Director, Dr. Christian Ntizimira (@ntizimira ), whose Harvard Medical School MMSc-GHD thesis research has been published.
The paper, “Kusa Ikivi”: Death as an Accomplishment and End-of-Life Experience of Cancer Patients in Rwanda, brings forward African perspectives on dignity, culture, and end-of-life care, contributing to global conversations on palliative care.
We are grateful to see this work recognized and shared by Harvard Medical School Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery and OncoDaily, reflecting the importance of research rooted in lived experience, culture, and compassionate care.
🥳Congratulations to Dr. Christian and all co-authors Prof. Deo Mbonyinkebe, Dr. Mary Dunne and Dr. Eric Krakauer (thesis director), on this important milestone.
