Hollywood spent $1 billion adapting The Odyssey.
I already spent two months and one GPU turning Iliad into an AI cinematic musical. Faithful to the actual text.
Homer literally describes “red-haired Achilles” (Book 1) and “white-armed Helen” (Book 3). The text is not ambiguous.
Same source. Different interpretation.
@Apolitical3678 Decolonisation, UN treaties, seasonal labour, globalism, wars in the Middle East, soft migration policies in the West, and the internet: which shows people in Africa how unequal the world is and where the money is : that’s why.
@AIandDesign I block anyone who spreads negativity or hate on my content. It comforts, gives me a sense of payback, and doesn’t destroy your focus. If you don’t do it already, I can advise you to do the same
@KshitizCritic The oldest trick in the book, really, the Odyssey was the original blockbuster, performed aloud to crowds who already knew the ending and showed up anyway😆. Homer understood spectacle was never the plot; it was the telling. 2026 is just rediscovering that.
@HomerPavlos I love it that in this movie Iphigeneia is the moral center of the story, not the sacrifice. As I'm writing lyrics on her "sacrifice" right now, does anyone know if it's still streamable anywhere?
Homer spent more lines on Achilles than on any other character in the Iliad. More than Paris. More than Helen. More than the war itself.
Full Episode 2 drops Friday — and I'm already writing Episode 3, where Achilles and Odysseus enter the story for the first time.
Which one do you think is harder to get right? 👇
@Dv_sol1@thesarmie I think the best way is to create a Short for every video you publish. It’s free promotion. That way, you get two videos out of each piece of content. But quality over quantity.
Honestly, I couldn’t have made what I make now without AI, but that’s exactly the point. An AI animated musical doesn’t exist without someone obsessing over every frame, every lyric, every emotional beat for months on end. The people complaining have never opened a project file. AI doesn’t make great work. The human behind it does.
