@FreyChristopher Thank you for these details- it makes the picture clearer on what to expect. My daughter plans to enroll in the Honors college this fall. The provost’s reply to our letter saying it would remain the same came as cold comfort. She didn’t even capitalize “Great Books”.

A decided shift in tone and content of the UTulsa Honors Instagram page. From highlighting students' earnest exploration about the Great Ideas to featuring students who already have answers. This in spite of assurances that "the Honors student experience continues unchaged."

My family is reeling over this upsetting news. My daughter has been planning on joining the University of Tulsa Honors college this fall. We had hoped we had found the perfect place for her 🧵

Now for some personal news: today is my last day as Dean. I was stunned to be informed by our new provost there will no longer be a Dean of Honors, period.  Nor an Assistant Dean.  Rather, I was told there will be a “director” of honors--but that person will not be me. (12/21)
