My hero hubs @ghbledsoe finished his 5th 12 hour night shift in a row in a very busy emergency department. His commute is over 1 1/2 hours away so he has stayed at a hotel close to the hospital to sleep during the day this week. Kids are off school and home for the holidays, so

take care of our communities in our most critical moments — all while missing out on family time and loved ones over the holidays. You most likely all see it as just “doing what needs to be done” and not some sort of sacrifice— which is a sure sign of hero status.
