@elonmusk@mayemusk@bot In Minnesota, our judges just run unopposed, zero accountability. Been like this for years.
Here is the ballot in my district, per our SoS website:
Seriously — probably 9 times out of 10 trips to Aldi (nearest this shooting) theres a panhandler outside. And not sure how often you go to B’ville, but I noticed on an early morning bike ride this summer, just about every road and street south of 42 from Redwood on the east all the way west to Cty 5 is crumbling and deteriorated. I’m not one of those asshat narcissist bikers, but man is it a rough ride anywhere on Burnsville’s southside. Really what drove my thinking about the place going to shit.
@Don667961260939@CrimeWatchMpls Nope, closed years ago. But there is a house out in Credit River that has the Burnsville Bowl big sign laid up next to their barn
We don’t talk about Burnsville enough. Feeding Futures FBI raid half mile south of this location. Massive meth bust in the hotel half mile west of here in 2022/23’ish. Multiple shootings at apartments maybe a mile south of here last year, closer to Buck Hill. All kinds of action in the River Hill area on the NE side. I drove by a stand off maybe a quarter mile east on McAndrews Rd maybe 3 years ago. We also quickly forgot it was the OG for Somali shootings at school events…remember the Burnsville HS graduation? And we should never forget the tragic first responders who lost their lives in February 2024.
I grew up in Burnsville, moved back as adult for about 5 years, but then got the fuck out after receiving my 3rd notice in my mailbox about the 5th sex offender moving into my neighborhood….and I wasn’t alone in noticing this trend of dumping the worst people into the city, more frequently and neighboring cities.
The city has had the same Mayor for decades, who will put the Ames Center on her tombstone as her crowning but most failing achievement. She has overseen a massive deterioration at a rapid pace for at least the last 15 years. No signs of changing.
@WSJ Looks pretty much to be an above the scroll news story on WSJ homepage today — yet, not a peep from any local Minnesota news sources.
