Our hospitals are in disarray, so much worse than even 3yrs ago when I left.
Night shift nurses are primarily international, speaking broken English and unable to answer standard medical questions. Stopped one from administering the wrong drug to my sister last night. This is a “top 10” university research trauma center.

It’s worth recalling that the word “mother” was banned in Brave New World. Our political leadership might want to note that this classic of 20th Century literature was meant to be a cautionary tale, not an instruction manual.
