• the right to a fair trial
• freedom of assembly & expression
• the right to participate in free elections
• freedom of religion
• freedom from discrimination
• the right to privacy
• freedom from torture & degrading treatment

and as for the argument we can just leave & create our own bill of rights that presupposes you can trust the government with your human rights in the first place. Does anyone seriously trust these two individuals with their human rights?
