@doglovesbiscuit@AnnieBishop123@authlink 1979 was when I started high School. You still had every right to live to your life. Anyway I was not applying for a job in the NHS - it was for a job in private sector and I should not have been asked that question.
@Rosiebud62176@mazst@BigLexi0@FearedBuck There is no need to be rude about it and you are wrong anyway. The law was changed in England and Wales in 2023. Legal marriage age is now 18 but this marriage took place in the Isle of Man where the age is still 16.
@Number10cat Normally I am a fan but this is stupid. Firstly, it was a joke and secondly, my grandma had a crush on Ian Botham when he was 25 and she was 65
@WriterHannahBT My colleague near Newbury told me hers had returned on Friday. I no longer live in Droylsden M43 where they nested behind an air brick in the bedroom closet. Used to wake up to their soft nest twitters. Nothing like the on-the-wing screams. Miss them so much.
@NormOrnstein I wasnโt commenting on whether the Doctors should have been asking questions like this or not. It was just a story - maybe people could lighten up a bit and not look for arguments and opportunities to belittle others.
@NormOrnstein My 95 year old Aunt was asked questions like this. She didnโt like it. She was a Land Girl in the UK during WWII. So, she stared the Doctor down and asked โCan you milk a cow? No? Well I can, so stop asking such bl**dy stupid questionsโ. I want to grow old with this attitude!
@anon_opin When I was a student in the late 80โs we used to buy our Thunderbirds from Booths in Scotforth, Lancaster. It was like a Londis then - Booths as a brand has come a LONG way since then!!
