@rorysutherland A man owning a large electrical wholesaler had no fans in a surprise heatwave.
Afterwards he bought containers full in winter and one or two years in every four made huge profits.
A UK manufacturer - 3 weeks closer than China - dismissed the opportunity as toasters sell all year.
@Timoldland A friend pranked his in-house accountant by prising the keys off his office phone and replacing them in the order on his calculator.
I don’t think he ever forgave him.
@andrewjmckillop@GrailArchive Good luck wedging him in.
Do you know if anyone made Tipo 33 kits?

‘You’re wearing the Bishop’s slippers’ came the curt reply.
@Roxby08010965@AnnieBishop123 If you watch Brief Encounter, Celia Johnson was on her way to return a book to Boots who operated libraries in their shops for their high-minded customers.
Apparently condom sales stopped at Boots in the 1920s, restarting in 1961 coincidentally - for those with a prescription.
@katephillips29 William ‘Smasher’ Dowsing was busy demolishing anything idolatrous locally on behalf of the 2nd Earl of Manchester.
Apparently, lots of non-religious decorative stained glass was also destroyed.
Could Lucretia have been chosen as a non-religious heroine to avoid censure?
@johnarnold The Waltons, Mars, Ford, Kennedy, Pritzker, Rockefeller, Getty families and many others are the US aristocracy … often only one or two generations self-made.
