My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine who were just living their everyday lives, harming no one. Now they must run & hide, leave behind loved ones, search for food & water, shelter from falling bombs & bullets, see their lives & dreams, cities & culture destroyed. Such evil.

I've finished writing The Square, a murder mystery set within a North Yorkshire town, which has been great fun to write. Set 4 years later, it has some of my favourite 'friends' from The Allotments & a few new ones - a story of new beginnings & old scores, community - and murder.
