Drawing Them In - England - New Documentary
"Drawing Them In" follows Pastor Robin Singleton and his church in the quaint market town of Loftus, England. These believers are striving to live out a distinct and compelling Christian witness through everyday ministry opportunities, including their “Grace Brew House.”
Pastor Robin shares:
“This is our Grace Brew House. It's our church cafe. We just wanted to be able to reach out to the local community and allow them to come in and meet Christians. And over the months and years, we have built up some really good relationships. And through the cafe, we've seen several people come through to other groups in the church, come to faith, be baptized, and become church members.”
“The work is the Lord’s and it’s for Him and for His glory. When we serve people, we’re doing it as if for Him, and we’re praying for opportunities as well, to speak to people about the Lord and His work.”

Observations:
Young Christian men are more right wing than most parents and older folks realize. But they navigate the clash of cultures and ideologies by separating true interpretations of reality from the goofball or edgelord who might be offering it.
So our moment is much more first century Corinth and Rome than the twentieth century post war consensus. Much more Beowulf days or barely Christian Norse than the Cultural Christianity which elites were ashamed of.
The young men are multiethnic(!) and hard right and theologically informed. They are so cynical about the internet that they don’t trust anyone online, but can get behind true ideas from nearly anyone.
Mark 5 is sweet taken as a whole chunk.
Jesus revealing His power over demons, disease, and death.
All three vanish before His presence.
Darkness encountering light.
So good.
Just led a young man to Christ at a Chick-fil-A breakfast meeting this morning. Always incredible to see God save someone! Pray for Tristan. 19 years old and starting a new life now with the confidence of the gospel.

“Remember Jesus Christ… as preached in my gospel,
for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal.
But the Word of God is not bound.”
(2 Tim. 2:8-9)
Can't remember who I heard it from. But, to oversimplify:
If the 1st thousand years of Church History sorted out the doctrine of God,
and the 2nd thousand the doctrine of Scripture,
now with the 3rd thousand we expect to face the doctrine of man.
What does it mean to be human?
NEW: Biohacker Bryan Johnson reveals he has created a “newborn clone” of himself in a petri dish — will eventually be used to grow organs & repair his body.
I've said it before but there is a whole theology in John 3:16:
-For God so loved: Theology Proper
-The world: Humanity
-That he gave: Incarnation
-His only begotten Son: Trinity
-That whoever believes in him: Soteriology
-Should not perish but have eternal life: Eschatology
This is why we need literal translations of the Bible, and it's one of the main concerns of my translation of the Psalms. I want readers to be able to see the repeated terms and phrases within a particular psalm, and from one psalm to another. (3/4)

"Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades" (Rev. 1:17-18)
"From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."
