@waitmanb I’ve often wondered about the collective memory of Germans after World War 2 and how they interact with the Holocaust and camps. I’ve done some minor research, but I haven’t had the time to fully reading articles or books about it.

For part of the 1830s, violence in Congress was largely party vs. party.

Ultimately, it became largely N vs. S, pro-slavery vs. antislavery. So sometimes, the politics of slavery turned people from the same party against each other.

@NickSacco55 For my Gov. & US HIST 101 classes, my students have a 200-300 word discussion post. I do 2-4 primary source readings that are 2-3 pages each. Some weeks they read a chapter in the YAWP or OpenStax
