@JonRothstein Sigh. Do you actually look at the current situation, or just copy/paste from the previous day? So much easier to copy/paste and hope nobody notices, eh?
@onballcreator Agreed. Too many unknowns. But has Rothstein done any research on this list since May? He still has Arizona at 6, which cannot be accurate. They are either higher if Godfrey is eligible or lower if he isn’t.
@Cravenmrhd@TheZonaFeed If your standard is a national title, then you are right. But by that standard ASU football hasn’t won anything either. The truth is that both ASU football and Arizona hoops have had substantial wins in the past few years.
@JonRothstein Ooopsie, you forgot to move Arizona either up or down. Up if they have Godfrey, down if they don't. Either way, they are not #6 right now. Gotta adjust every day if you're gonna post every day, Jon.
@JonRothstein Still gotta update Arizona, Jon. They are not 6th. If Godfrey plays, they are top 3. If Godfrey ineligible, they are 8-12. Are you considering him eligible or ineligible in your rankings?
@BRamseyKSR Meh. Could be amazing, but those mid-major jumps are a gamble. Lots of them flame out with the big boys. Hope he works out well for you guys!
@JonRothstein Not sure of your criteria, but Arizona can’t be #6 both with Godfrey and without. If you are factoring him in, you need Arizona in your top 3. If you are factoring him out, you’ve got them too high.
@onballcreator If Arizona can’t play Godfrey, then I agree with your picks. But if Arizona has him, I believe they will find a way back to the FF, replacing either Arkansas or Illinois.
@KevoPosts If you get a visit from a recruit and aren't able to close the gap a little bit, somebody should be fired. So I don't consider that news. I expect Arizona will expand that gap again in 2 weeks, possibly receiving a commitment.
@LeifThulin Tommy must be seeing something in Bowman Jr. that I ain’t. Have yet to see or hear him say anything about team, teammates or winning. Every comment is about Navorro and getting to the NBA. Doesn’t seem like a fit the way Diggs and Wabbington are.
@CBBToday I would posit that Arizona is right there with Duke and Florida. Arizona certainly has some "ifs" also, but I don't trust Florida's guards until I see them together, and Duke has a high risk of disgruntledness due to so many elite guys fighting for time.
@GaryParrishCBS@CBSSports Assuming Godfrey is deemed eligible, and your description indicates you are, you're not ranking Arizona nearly high enough. I don't see Texas, UConn or Illinois being stronger than us. And once again Florida's guard play may be its undoing. I'd say #2 behind Duke.
@travelsofmadman@TorresOnUConn Thank you!!! He keeps getting rumored to Arizona too, and I don't want him. I have yet to see a single quote where he talks about anything other than himself and his future. Not sure he even knows he has teammates. Might be great, but the selfishness makes him too risky.
@cjhanalytics No. Momcilovic only plays one end of the court. They would miss his offense deeply, but would be better on defense with someone else. Murauskas plays for a middling Big 12 team at best, so does he really matter at all?
@KevoPosts I like Bowman Jr.'s game, but still have not heard him say anything about "team" or making his teammates better or winning. Hard for me to get on board with him until I see some quotes from him that look outward rather than inward.
