@michaelshermer We have kept scores of foster dogs. I can confirm in my anecdotal, but numerous experiences, they have much higher rates of dog on dog and dog on human aggression. Just last month I sent one back as I feared for my safety. Last week another but our pet sitter. I am done.

@michaelshermer Yeah the whole media feed we get on this is indeed peculiar. But I’ve been involved in a few situations that made the press and - without exception- found the media descriptions of events deplorably bad. So I guess I’m having a little faith in the media just f*cking it up again

@michaelshermer I am aligned with your previous post, but finding debris post-fire is easy. I make fires that can melt glass regularly but, the next day, still find unburnt bits of starter paper just 2 feet away from the main blaze. An open top fire is nothing like an oven. Air flows/cools.
