Effective immediately, Trevor Halford, Claire Rattée, and John Rustad will no longer serve as members of the Conservative Party of British Columbia Caucus.

With an election potentially on the horizon, our focus must be on British Columbians and defeating David Eby’s NDP government.

This is a really bad move from Team Bradford:

1) Streisand effect
2) distraction from issues that Chow is weak on
3) puts Ford-supporting staff in a weird bind
4) elevates it into a needless fight
5) Centrist/left leaning voters won’t suddenly abandon Chow over it

Very cool (and important!) event hosted by The Icebreaker and Matt Lombardi this evening in Toronto.

It’s high time Canada invest in its military and defence industry. And it’s critical stakeholders make their case to Canadians about it being in the national interest and to their community’s benefit.

With billions of dollars on the line, these procurement opportunities cannot ignore public outreach and mobilization.

Thrilled to be back in the pages of @WDiminishment on why “Free Enterprise & Nothing Else” won’t fix BC.

I’ve stayed out of political discourse lately, but the idea of a new BC “free enterprise” party focused exclusively on economic/fiscal/pocketbook issues compelled me to weigh in.

We can’t keep pretending that BC’s problems can be entirely defined in dollars & cents and entirely solved with tax cuts, deregulation & balanced budgets (as important as these are).

We can’t keep ignoring the left’s steady, patient work to fundamentally re-shape our schools, our public service, our courts and our society.

What many don’t realize is that every economic/fiscal/pocketbook issue is underpinned & legitimized by a cultural mindset being unapologetically pushed into every aspect of governance, every single day that the NDP are in office.

They’re playing the long game. It’s time for us to get on the field.
