@s_malcolmson The BC Conservative have already talked about "appeasing Trump". We all know what that means. Just watch the Republican's weasil words when asked about their support of Trump. They are working for Trump or with the hope of joining him.

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@s_malcolmson Can you afford a doubling of your ICBC again? MSP premiums returning? Bridge tolls? BC Hydro privatised? Lose our medical system completely to suck up to Trump? Lose our country. Everything. So one more Trump follower can suck his dick.

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@s_malcolmson Give everything to the billionares! That is the cry of the BC Conservatives. Nothing for the people, a red carpet for the wealthy. Sell every asset, to the rich, for a bargain price. The people lose everything, get the bill for all the billionares's profits. That's Conservatives!

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@s_malcolmson Thank you for saying what needs to be said, Sheila! All these racist lies about the NDP make me want to vote for the NDP even more! Aren't people sick of the Trump style BS that is sucking our world dry? Lies, Lies, and more lies, that is all Cons have. No substance at all!

[Sheila Malcolmson @s_malcolmson]

Conservative’s Doerkson won’t denounce hate, Islamophobia, homophobia on his team. Eby’s right - it should be foundational, that hate isn’t acceptable.
But Doerkson won’t condemn it - that’s not leadership.

@adriandix We don't need rent controls ended. We don't need to coddle billionares that have their feeling hurt by higher taxes. We don't need racism. We don't need religion, of any brand, shoved down our throats (I'm looking at you, Christian Nationalists). We need decency, VOTE NDP!

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@adriandix We don't need tax cuts for billionares. We don't need privatized healthcare that costs double like the US system does. We don't need higher daycare costs. We don't need bridge tolls. We don't need cuts to homeless people. We need what we have, consistent, decent government!

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@adriandix Thank you, Adrian. I get the impression that many people are simply reacting to bombastic statements by the Conservatives, that have been taken out of context or are not true. The true cost of the Conservatives to BC is the loss of virtually everything we hold dear. Environment.

[Adrian Dix @adriandix]

If you give away billions in revenue, and add billions in spending, where do you make up the difference? Here is a review of the $5 billion in unexplained, unfunded BC Conservatives promises. https://t.co/EHmVa5aSdd

[liberalsupporter @peepeeLEpuke]

@Conservative_BC He doesn’t have to.

The local daycare his kid was already in changed to a 10 dollar a day daycare

He paid the difference

Pretty sure u wouldn’t yank your kid out of your local neighbourhood daycare if it changed

I guarantee you fkers wouldn’t pay the difference

[Bill Tieleman @BillTieleman]

BREAKING - BC Conservatives drop another candidate days before election over racist comments! Are there any other crazy candidates who escaped vetting? #bcpoli #vanpoli #cdnpoli

[Tracy Snow @Solidarity101]

Eleven former BC Attorneys General from three different political parties had to fact-check the BC Conservative lies around fee simple home ownership and the modern treaty process.

Stop falling for their lies and bigotry. #bcpoli

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@EKurtzzz @unionwill Go away, troll. You represent the rich and corrupt and hearing you trying to denigrate someone for having a good job after years of university, is just stupid. He donated to the daycare, have you?

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@shawnmyr @unionwill That's just wrong. Each day care has to apply to be part of the program, some have and some haven't. Eby's child was already in the daycare when they applied to join.

[BC NDP @bcndp]

STATEMENT FROM BC NDP LEADER DAVID EBY:

"Securing a deal with the Prime Minister, BC and Ottawa will work together to reach a newly negotiated childcare funding agreement with a December 1st deadline. My family has benefited from a wonderful local childcare centre and I will keep fighting so that every family benefits from quality childcare across our province.

A couple of years ago, the childcare centre that one of our children was attending was designated as a $10/day site. When that occurred, we chose as a family to make a donation to that excellent facility. We felt that we did not need that discount and we wanted to make sure that the childcare centre could provide other supports for families in the community.

We will be making a similar donation to the childcare centre for our youngest child who attends the same facility."

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@EKurtzzz @unionwill What the hell is wrong with you? Did you not read the posted information from David Eby? When was the last time one of you, on your own accord, decided to donate to others because you had recieved a benefit that you are clearly entitled to? There is and was NO income test.

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@Averyflash We need to build infrastruction as quickly as possible so we can eliminate LNG as well, with solar and wind or perhaps something we don't have now. It take time and we need to start now, not fight about it. That has wasted decades.

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@Averyflash I was totally against LNG but when I learned that there is NO other quick alternative to bunker fuel for tankers etc, I began to change my opinion. We need to stop fossil fuels but we can't do it quickly. The LNG becomes a bridge fuel, better than what we have but not perfect.

[Jeff Barkley @JeffBarkle28159]

@CharlieKime1 This is absurd! The NDP cut child care fees in half. Eby's child was already in the daycare when the $10 a day started. I also understand he has been donating the difference in the $10 and the higher fees to other children.

[Sussanne Skidmore @susibcfedprez]

But the BC Conservatives would end public funding for child care spaces and haven't said a word about capping fees. That's a recipe for costing families thousands of dollars a year.
