Career advice nobody told you: There's nothing more valuable than someone who can just figure it out. Do some work. Ask the key questions. Get it done. Repeat. If you do that, people will fight over you.
James Madison described the powers of the federal government as “few and defined” and those reserved to the states as “numerous and indefinite.”
We’ve been dangerously drifting from that understanding since the 1930s.
The drift has been most evident in areas now most fraught with waste, fraud, and abuse.
If we honored the Constitution’s limits on federal power, there’d be very little waste, fraud, and abuse in our national government.
Share if you’d like to see a “constitutional reset,” in which any government function that’s not obviously and necessarily federal under the Constitution would be returned “to the states respectively, or to the people,” as the Tenth Amendment specifies.
The movie is a total bastardization of Animal Farm and makes a joke of Orwell’s entire point, which was to make a searing satirical critique of communism. The director himself openly bragged that the movie would mock “corporate greed,” not communism.
You should NOT pay a dime to see this filthy, communist dreck, nor should you take your children to see it.
It takes incredible propaganda to convince a population that enforcing border policy is 'racist' or 'cruel'.
There's basically no country on Earth where you can just waltz in unannounced and stay there indefinitely.
If we have to pay taxes, then the government should at least send us postcards about the specific fraud ring we’re sponsoring. Kind of like animal non-profits send updates on the animal you sponsor. Am I sponsoring a Somali daycare scam or a Persian hospice scam? I want to know!
We do not have three co-equal branches of government and have not for a long time. We have judicial tyranny, a limited executive, and a completely atrophied legislature that has given away all their power to the administrative state and whose key function is to be a reality TV show that makes it look like we actually have a Congress.
If members of the Senate wanted to openly run on the notion that they would be the key roadblock to President Trump then they should have. They never would have gotten elected. For representative government to work one day, the politicians actually have to start being honest about what they intend to do and then try to do those things as opposed to the opposite.
NATO is a Cold War relic. The United States should withdraw from NATO and use that money to defend our country, not socialist countries.
Today, I introduced HR 6508 to end our NATO membership.
2 things can be true at the same time...
I can prefer that some countries defeat other countries in their respective conflicts without believing that the United States needs to be directly involved.
I guess we didn’t get the memo, apparently only schools like Texas, LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, A&M etc etc etc are allowed to spend money on their rosters
The haters are big mad 😂
