The clutch assembly was replaced in my Jeep on a recall.
I took it in Mon. morning & the front garage was filled with 5 Jeep Wrangler 4XE's which Stellantis pulled from their websites over the weekend.
Quality control on Jeep since COVID is non existent. So is customer service
@FuckJac71537600@Jeep Absolutely terrible product, I have a 2024 4xe i have a high voltage battery recall on it and a recall for engine fires with no fix known yet for the engine fires!!! My hybrid has never worked in the winter either. NEVER again.
@StellantisNA@Stellantis@Jeep The customer service that Jeep currently has is the worst I have ever had to deal with regarding an issue with a vehicle. Extremely rude and argumentative. My Jeep wrangler 4xe recall battery failed and no one at Jeep cares. Try calling yourself!
@elonnews40 Dealer said, after one of the recall remedies by Jeep, if the 4xe catches fire 🔥 now, you’ll have time to get out of the Jeep!
😳 Are these people for real ? 😳
@Jeep since y’all have no remedy for the 4XE engine issue in my 24 Grand Cherokee lease, I can’t, in good conscience, send my daughter across the state to college in a vehicle that might grenade its engine on the interstate. Let’s start the process of buy back.
"I've owned @Jeep since 1994—3 Wranglers, loyal as they come.
My Rubicon X 4xe has an unfixable fire-risk recall. Wife won't let me plug in or drive it. 'Only' 19 fires? That's 19 too many. Turned it in early, leased gas, still owe Chrysler Capital. Demand letters to FCA: silence. 30-year customer treated like this... how will they treat you? Check NHTSA before buying any 4xe!"
"Stellantis is hitting a rough stretch, and the turbulence is becoming hard to ignore. Sluggish demand for new electric vehicles, ongoing recall headaches, and shifting market priorities have all piled up, and now the automaker is making a bold move. For the 2026 model year, Stellantis plans to drop its plug-in hybrid lineup in North America, including the once best-selling Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the more polished Grand Cherokee 4xe, and Chrysler’s Pacifica PHEV."
[NEWS] Stellantis is phasing out all plug-in hybrids in the U.S.:
That includes the Wrangler 4xe, Grand Cherokee 4xe, and Pacifica PHEV.
And here’s why:
Demand (and regulatory fit) aren’t lining up the way Stellantis expected.
So, instead of doubling down on plug-ins, the company is shifting focus back toward:
- Traditional hybrids
- Range-extenders
- And straight-up performance, like the HEMI and TRX.
Simply put: Stellantis is betting buyers want fewer plugs and fewer compromises right now.
So dealers should be ready to pivot messaging, manage 4xe residuals, and lean into ICE, hybrid, and used opportunities as the lineup reshuffles.
