₦44bn Fraud: I Blew The Whistle, But I Got Reprisal Instead Of Honour - Shehu
I gave the EFCC documents and evidence. The facts speak for themselves. I provided everything needed to clear my name of these false allegations, including records of the transfers and evidence of breaches in financial procedures, from the Office of the Accountant-General to the Ministry, including the payment of the remaining ₦3 billion from the COVID-19 funds into 11 accounts without my authorisation, consent or approval. I reported all of this to the EFCC, yet instead of being commended for speaking up, I faced reprisal.

It is impossible to provide Nigerians with 24-hour electricity within four years — Peter Obi
NDC Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi has said it would be unrealistic to promise uninterrupted electricity supply across Nigeria within four years, stressing that the country’s power infrastructure cannot be built overnight.
Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television on Sunday, July 26, Obi said constructing power plants and upgrading transmission networks require years to complete, making a nationwide 24-hour electricity supply within a single four-year term unattainable.
“24-hour electricity within 4 years is impossible. If you want to build a power plant, it takes about 4 years. Improving transmission lines also takes years.”
Rather than making what he described as unrealistic promises, Obi pledged that his administration would ensure Nigeria can generate, transmit, and distribute at least 10,000 megawatts of electricity within four years.
“But within 4 years, we will ensure we can generate, transmit, and distribute not less than 10,000 Megawatts.”
The former Anambra State governor said this would be achieved through embedded power projects, citing Geometric Power in Aba as a successful model that can be replicated across the country to boost industrial development.
“We will do it through embedded power. Look at what Geometric Power is doing in Aba—we need to replicate that in locations like Kano to drive the industries in Bompai and Sharada.”
Obi also called for the settlement of the trillions of naira owed to electricity generation companies, saying restoring confidence in the sector is essential to attracting investment.
“Today, the government owes generating companies trillions of Naira. We must pay them. Our politics must change; if I don’t deliver what I promise, I will come out and explain to the people what is going wrong.”

You don't need to chant how amazing you are, or feel inspired by the person you are to win.
You just need to repeat successful actions longer and more diligently than any reasonable person would. And that - thankfully - has nothing to do with how you feel today.

"Only one person has prepared more matches than me: Alex Ferguson, who has prepared for over 2,000. I take advice from everyone, but the only one who could really be the right person to give me advice is Alex Ferguson."

What happens when you die:
They divide up your shit.
They summarize your life in 500-1000 words.
People who knew you less say sorry to people who knew you more.
Everyone eats, drives home, and wakes up the next day and goes to work.
Whatever you’re worried about won’t be in those 500 words.
You can dare greatly or not at all, but you’re gonna die either way.
Might as well squeeze every motherfucking drop out.
Contrary to newsfeed hype, getting in shape will not make you more money.
Believe me, tons of broke fit people.
100 bicep curls will not beat 100 cold emails.
If you wanna make more money, spend your time on things that make you more money.
The biggest status flex isn’t a Lamborghini, a Rolex, or a house in the Hamptons, it’s caring more about what you think about you than what other people say about you.
Society is obsessed with optionality and “keeping your options open.”
The problem is, it's optimizing for potential, not reality.
Everything great in life is on the other side of a few big commitments.
And commitment means going all in.
